With more and more news coming out about #covidsurvivor long haul experiences, and with doctors, the CDC and the general public being unaware about this growing reality, this needs to be shared.
If we choose to turn a blind eye to what #covid19 patients are experiencing, then we choose to turn our backs on preventing a secondary pandemic: one of chronically ill, ignored, and under-studied patients being unable to work (or work effectively), perform daily tasks and duties (or simply function), maintain positive mental health and relationships, and thrive.
If this affected 1 person then it’s easy to shrug off. If this effects 1,000,000 then it’s easy to see why this will become an economic and societal issue impacting afflicted and unafflicted family members, friends, and coworkers alike.
